What is the grant for?
The grant is to support events and activities that celebrate Huntingdonshire and its communities, heritage and culture, generating Pride in Place. Activity supported by the grant should bring people together and showcase community.
It may help to think around key dates and anniversaries, such as VE Day or bank holidays.
Applicants should take note of the aim of Huntingdonshire Futures' Pride in Place journey that "Huntingdonshire's citizens will feel proud to live and work in a place with stand-out character" and to create a brighter Huntingdonshire.

How much money is available?
A total of £40,000 is available in grants of £500 - £2,500.
When will the grant scheme close?
The grant scheme will close on 30 June 2025, or when the fund is exhausted, whichever is sooner.
All activity supported by the grant must be completed by 31 December 2025.

What is Huntingdonshire Futures and Pride in Place?
Huntingdonshire Futures is Huntingdonshire District Council’s place strategy for the next 30 years, aiming to make Hunts better place to work, live and visit.
Pride in Place is one of the Five Journeys in the strategy. Pride in Place focuses on celebrating Huntingdonshire and all that makes it special. Its aim is that residents will be proud to live here, with great places to spend their time and a strong and safe community surrounding them.
