Q. How do I set up or change a Direct Debit?
Complete the Direct Debit instruction form online or call us on 01480 388030 - you'll need your bank account number, sort code and Council Tax reference to hand.
You can also use this form to change your bank details. Payments can be made on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Q. How do I apply for or cancel a single person discount?
If you are the only adult living at your address you can apply for a sole adult occupier discount by completinge the online form.
Q. How do I view my Council Tax account online?
To check your Council Tax account sign in or register at My.Huntingdonshire and follow the instructions. To see personalised information you will need your Council Tax account reference which is shown on your bill (8 digits starting with a "4").
This option has only recently been added and more items will be added to the details you can see in the coming months.
Q. How do I notify you of a change of tenants in my rental property?
If you want to tell us about a new tenancy or the end of a current tenancy, please complete the online form. . You will need to provide the full names of the tenants and the start/end date of the tenancy before we can amend our records.
If you want to tell us something else about a tenancy please email us at council.tax@huntingdonshire.gov.uk.
Q. How do I apply for a 12-month instalment plan?
You can use this online form to request that your Council Tax instalments are spread through to March of each year, rather than ending in January.

Q. How do I apply for a discretionary payment arrangement?
Complete an Income and Expenditure form with an offer of payment.
Q. How do I notify you of a death?

Q. What do I do if I have received a review form?
If you have received a review form for a Council Tax exemption or disregard you can renew by completing this online form.
Q. How do I add my partner's/joint tenant's name to the Council Tax account?

If you don't currently claim single person discount and the additional person is moving from another address in this area, the additional person can fill in this form (select the 'Moving within Huntingdonshire' option).

Q. How do I find out what band I am in?
You can look up your Council Tax band on the Valuation Office Agency's website - you will need your postcode. If you don't know your postcode you can look it up on Royal Mail's postcode finder.

Our enforcement agents are Jacobs Enforcement or Newlyn Plc.
