What is a BioBlitz?
A BioBlitz is an exciting event that brings together local community members, volunteer scientists, families, students and teachers to explore and document biodiversity in a specific area.
Participants work together to find and identify as many species of plants, animals, fungi and other organisms as possible within a set time period. These discoveries are recorded and contribute to local and national wildlife databases.
