We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Officer to join our operational services team in Huntingdon.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalising on business opportunities and new markets to significantly increase income and profitability across a variety of services.

You will manage the entire process from inception, development, implementation, and project management, ensuring that each opportunity is supported by robust business cases and evidence.

With full responsibility and accountability for direct sales and income recovery, you will drive future sales within current services and new business delivery, analyse performance reports, and maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your role will be crucial in safeguarding agreed budgets and managing risks and contractual issues in the council’s best interest.
