Job details

Are you an experienced administrator, who has a good eye for detail? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic HR team on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

To support us with recruitment, onboarding, L&D and general HR administration to help us achieve our ambitious goals. Although flexible on how the hours are worked, ideally, we're looking for someone who can support us Monday - Friday.

You will mainly focus on L&D and recruitment administration and will be responsible for the administration of our L&D interventions along with assisting with the full recruitment lifecycle. There is opportunity to support the wider HR function to support your development if interested. You will help us to attract great candidates with the right values and motivations, as well as relevant skill sets, behaviours, and experience.

In this busy and varied role, no two days will be the same, you could be arranging interviews, carrying out pre-employment checks or supporting our L&D Business Partner with their course management. This is a chance to make an impact; ensuring we recruit a diverse workforce and have the right people in place with the right skills to deliver for our organisation.

About you

An excellent communicator with strong organisational skills, you will be experienced in using Microsoft Office. Self-motivated and proactive, you will have previous administrative experience and be able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision to meet multiple deadlines.

With a general knowledge surrounding the concepts and principles of HR administration. We're committed to finding the right person and an experienced administrator with an interest in HR would also thrive in this role.

Striking the balance between delivering a compliant recruitment process whilst maintaining flexibility to meet stakeholder needs, you'll be known for your reliability, attention to detail and organisation, alongside a collaborative and proactive approach.

An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. Huntingdonshire District Council does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and are unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
