About the role

Are you looking for an exciting role that allows you to make a real difference in your community and where no two days are the same?

We are seeking passionate and committed individuals who will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and fair use of our car parks.

You will be patrolling several locations to ensure compliance with parking regulations, and where necessary, issue charge notices. You will be required to carry out checks and basic maintenance to the systems and equipment within the car parks.

The position requires someone who can work outside in all weathers, work individually and as part of a team.

We have 2 full-time roles available, and welcome applications for part-time.

The full-time salary is £23,010 per annum working 37 hours, 5 days per week including alternate Saturdays.

Saturday work is payable at an enhanced hourly rate. A full-time employee working alternate Saturdays would receive approximately £1,100 additional per annum.

About you

You'll love spending time outdoors in all types of UK weather! You'll thrive working individually and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you must be aged 18 years or over and hold a full manual car driving license.

An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. Huntingdonshire District Council does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and are unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
