The Regeneration Team at Huntingdonshire District Council is committed to delivering sustainable development and long-term improvements across the district. Our priorities include revitalising town centres, supporting economic growth, enhancing infrastructure and ensuring the provision of high-quality facilities for residents, businesses and visitors.

We deliver a wide range of initiatives, such as:

  • public realm works, which focus on improving connectivity and accessibility through highway and streetscape enhancements

  • the installation of digital information screens in key locations to provide visitors and businesses with interactive guidance  and

  • support for community events that bring people together and strengthen the local economy.

In addition, we are progressing major redevelopment projects, including the transformation of the Priory Centre to create a modern, flexible cultural space that meets community and commercial needs. We are also working in partnership with the owner of the Old Falcon Inn to restore and secure the future of this historic building.

Through these programmes and by collaborating with partners, stakeholders, and the local community, we aim to promote sustainability, strengthen connectivity and preserve the distinctive character of Huntingdonshire, while securing a prosperous and resilient future for the district.
